Madonna has debuted a teaser for her upcoming music video to second MDNA single, “Girl Gone Wild,” directed by fashion photographers Mert & Marcus.
Flashing by in a scant 30 seconds are several button-pushing scenes reminiscent of classic Madonna: the same-sex embraces of “Justify My Love,” the cigarette-smoking Dita of “Erotica,” the leather, latex, and chains of “Human Nature,” and even a flash of “Ray Of Light”-era ecstasy. And it’s all been lensed in gorgeous black and white.
Like “Give Me All Your Luvin’,” it looks as though the music video for “Girl Gone Wild” will most certainly surpass the song.
The sneak peak at the “Girl Gone Wild” music video caps off a week of tease from the Queen Of Pop, who shared 60-second snippets of three unreleased MDNA tracks, “I’m Addicted,” “Love Spent,” and “Gang Bang.” Hear here:
“I’m Addicted” (produced by Madonna, Benny Benassi, Alle Benassi, and The Demolition Crew)
“Love Spent” (produced by Madonna and William Orbit)
“Gang Bang” (produced by Madonna and The Demolition Crew)
“Gang Bang” is my favorite of the trio, though I still think the title is ridiculously misleading.
MDNA is out March 26. Early reviews have been very good, and I cannot wait to hear the whole thing in full. (The proper way being the deluxe edition of the album, of course.)
