Alphabeat’s music video for their bouncy new single, “Vacation,” isn’t the celebration of surf and sand one might have expected (or as the snapshot above might lead you to believe). In fact, my favorite Denmark pop band hasn’t even departed for their destination, yet manages to put a happy face on everyone’s least favorite part of traveling in this pastel-colored clip.

With bags packed and a sextet of stewardesses straight out of Pan Am on hand to help, Alphabeat brings their super-pop party to what appears to be an empty airport terminal. Sparkling clean, no crowds, no crying babies? Now that would be a vacation!

Seriously though, does any other band in music have this much fun? Wherever Alphabeat’s headed, I wanna go-go-go. Shake it, Anders SG!
